Cauldwell portfolio to be managed by Jones Lang LaSalle

Cauldwell properties has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle to manage it’s UK property portfolio after the firm successfully managed its complex of offices in a Newcastle upon Tyne business park.

The property management company will now be in charge of an 87,500 square foot office building in Solihull called Sapphire Court and two multi-let offices at 1 St James’ Gate in Newcastle, according to Insider Media. Four single let office and industrial investments based in Yorkshire and Hampshire will be incorporated in the project as well.

In total, the firm will manage about 920,000 square feet of offices and industrial space, which will also include Cauldwell’s Hampshire Court Scheme comprising of three multi-let office buildings in Newcastle upon Tyne – a development that Jones Lang LaSalle was appointed to manage earlier this year.

Asset manager at Caudwell Properties Thomas Kane, said: “We are very pleased to roll out the management of the rest of our portfolio following an exemplary trial period with Jones Lang LaSalle’s management team on our Hampshire Court property”.

Alan Hutchinson, director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s property and asset management team, said: “This new mandate is an excellent endorsement of the property management service provided to Caudwell Properties so far this year and its great to see Jones Lang LaSalle’s focus on delivering outstanding results are being recognised by our clients”.

He added: “It is also a significant addition to the properties our national Property and Asset Management team already manages; specifically this instruction will be led out of our offices in Leeds, Birmingham and West London“.
