The best way forward is through a virtual office... The idea was started in the States and is really starting to take off here in the UK... I have been shopping around for a company who does this for the past few weeks and have found that the Virtual Office Group (www.virtual-office.co.uk) is by far the best looking company out there... especially seeing as their answering services are actually based in London, in Piccadilly. Their website does speak for themselves though so go have a squizz... why bother paying thousands of pounds a month to personal assistant/landlord? definately the best way to survive the recession... The lack of debt available to all companies over the last year has made them think a little bit harder about taking office space that isn't a millstone around their necks for 5-10 years, but instead works harder and supports their company by providing a complete service, not just an empty space. Whilst all companies that come to us at the moment are a bit more price-sensitive, they are also realistic about their office needs, and how much more is included within serviced offices. Not quite sure whether these are the 'green shoots of recovery' though or just the government trying to get at least some money out there...?
