I seriously question whether giving commercial enterprises free office space at the taxpayer’s expense is a proper use of public money. It might just about be justified in a really depressed area, but in busy thriving Manchester? What do other people think?

I’ve also been having a nightmare with Regus, I just found this site from doing a search on Google for ‘legal proceedings against regus’.

I’m going to see a Solicitor this week regarding an ongoing dispute I have with them. I don’t want to go into the full story here but I just wanted to add to the list of complaints here.

Terrible terrible service. Double payments, false costs, always incorrect call forwarding, no reply to any emails, rude staff…….could go on but have now thankfully cancelled our contract. Never again.

I truly wished I had researched Regus before signing a two year contract with them. I recently went to management inquiring about terminating my contract.I have been told now, that if I breach the contract, I would be sent to collections. Is it possible to downsize from my current office space contract to a Virtual Space contract of the same time frame (2yrs)? This may be my only option at this point, besides filing for bankruptcy. I would appreciate any advice.

I have similar experiences in my office at work.

The salespeople are completely worn down by the time they make it to my office to pitch their latest.

We sent notice of our intent to cancel but missed the THREE MONTH cancelation deadline by two weeks. They refuse to negotiate an early termination and have us on the hook for another year. Read the fine print on the Regus contracts. It’s very one sided and they follow it to the letter

Regus refuses to negotiate on anything. They will put like all kinds of charges do not go with Regus. We were charged late fees even though we update credit cards.
