easyOffice weekly office renting

November 15th, 2007 | by James Welch

easyOfficesSir Stelios Haji-ioannou is turning the office space industry on its head by introducing weekly rent charges, rather than monthly office charges as every other office space provider does.

His view is that serviced offices are overpriced and not operated how he thinks they should be. His one location, in Office space Kensington serviced officesKensington, Office space London serviced officesLondon, has only 8000 square feet of space, so larger operations wont be quaking in their shoes I dont imagine – at the moment. The offices can only cater for approx. 35 businesses, each with between 1 and 4 workstations.

However, a great idea as far as Choregus is concerned, is the bonus of having Stelios himself holding seminars for his serviced office tenants.

It seems Sir Stelios is looking to build the easyJet of the office space industry. He says: “If Regus is British Airways, EasyOffice is EasyJet.”

We at Choregus imagine that for the extremely low prices, a great basic service will be offered, with easyOffice making further revenues from extras such as phones, internet and secretarial services.

I look forward to the easyOffice empire growing in the future and it will be great to see the impact that it has on the industry.
