Miller Cromdale secures Aberdeen’s largest office letting of the year at Freedom House scheme

Miller Cromdale, the joint venture between Miller Developments and Cromdale, has completed the largest office letting of the year in Aberdeen at its Freedom House scheme in Old Ford Road.

Aker Offshore Partners Ltd, has agreed a ten year lease for the 32,000 square feet, four storey Aberdeen office space and relocated from smaller offices around the city to the site in the in September. Freedom House was recently awarded “Very Good” status in the BREAM code for sustainable buildings. Aker has moved to the complex to bolster its service to its clients and reaffirm its commitment to the city.

The Grade A office space is designed to acommodate over 300 staff and the company is looking to recruit 50 more staff to occupy the space.

Offshore Partner Managing Director Rod Buchan said; “We are using this move to provide clients with an improved level of service whilst at the same time working to deliver them lower costs through improved working practices. We have created a great deal of positive momentum in our business over the past couple of years and we are in line to significantly advance our market position by the end of 2009. The new office complex will be a key base for us in achieving our growth objectives.”
