Virtual Office Solutions Company Davinci Virtual Embarks on Recruitment Drive to Meet Increasing Demand
July 7th, 2009 | by Amy EdwardsLeading virtual office services provider Davinci Virtual has tripled staff numbers since its UK launch in January as a result of increased demand for this solution. In the past three months, Davinci has doubled client numbers and now represents over 250 individuals. The take up in virtual offices has increased significantly during the recession as small companies and entrepreneurs in the UK look for the ultimate cost-effective and time-efficient solution for their businesses.
Virtual offices deliver the full package of services and facilities of a conventional office without the business being tied down to restrictions such as office rent, secretaries or commuter distance. Virtual solutions can reduce business overheads from 40% to as little as 1% and enable a company or individual to project a big business image on a small business budget.
As of July, Davinci will employ a new Head of Partner Centre Relations, who will be responsible for signing new locations across the UK, Europe, Middle East and India; an additional Sales Executive also joins the UK central sales team to deal with the rising demand, and additional Virtual Personal Assistants are joining to maintain the personalised touch that Davinci is synonymous with. Steve Golding, Davinci’s General Manager in the UK, said: “Our company is enjoying rapid growth as an increasing number of businesses find thatvirtual office services are the smart, cost-effective solution to prosper in the downturn.” Adele Van Heerden, Davinci’s new Head of Partner Centre Relations, said: “The virtual business services space is
growing rapidly and I am delighted to be joining such an exciting company as they continue their global expansion.”

We’ve also seen a significant rise in take up of virtual offices so far this year, particularly the last couple of months.
There certainly seems to be a “what have I got to lose?” attitude out there at the moment and virtual offices provide a fantastic cost effective professional front for any new business.
On the back of this we’ve added new fax to email services and ‘homeworker’ phone packages where virtual clients can log in to our network via the latest Cisco handset and enjoy free site-to-site calls.
Virtual offices have certainly moved on in the last couple of years, it’s good progress.

Good to hear and how many of them do you think you can convert into full serviced office tenants? Also could they be “counter productive” in that because the VO services keep increasing, companies are dissuaded from taking physical office space?

So far this year one has taken full time serviced office space, but I’d expect to add a couple more in the next 6 months.
I don’t see them as counter-productive, it’s a trend in the market that we’re reacting to. They are also a great fall back if an office is just a bit too much for a company at that time – surely better to help a business get up and running for 6 months using a virtual office and then coming back from a physical office at a later date than them stretching to afford an office and folding after 6 months.
